Chick Weisse, VMD, DACVS (Founding member and board member)
Chick is a board certified veterinary surgeon and has extensive experience in endovascular and interventional procedures. He has made several important breakthroughs in tumor embolization and the minimally invasive treatment of congenital portosystemic shunts.

Jeffrey A. Solomon, MD, MBA (Founding member and board member)
Jeffrey graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University with degrees in biology and classics. He received his MD degree from the University of Pennsylvania and was named to the AOA honor society. In 2002, he received an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Currently, he is an interventional radiologist and holds faculty appointments at university teaching hospitals as well as medical and veterinary schools. He has performed several thousand interventional and endovascular procedures and is making significant strides in treating advanced malignancies in animals.

Jared Finegold, MBA (Founding member and director of fundraising)
Jared graduated with Honors from The Wharton School, where he received both a BSE and MBA degree in finance and management. He is the co-founder of Tenebril Inc., a software company based in Boston, MA and has worked in the investment banking divisions of Credit Suisse First Boston and Merrill Lynch & Co.

E. Scott Pretorius, MD (Board member)
Scott is a former Rhodes Scholar and is faculty at a university teaching hospital. He is performing pioneering work in developing veterinary applications for advanced imaging techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging.

Roy Yan (Board member)
Roy is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and has been awarded a bronze star for exceptional service during combat operations. He is currently a principal at Concordia Advisors and is responsible for trading volatility arbitrage in emerging markets. Roy provides SEVS with key financial advice and assists with strategic implementation of programs.

Jan Nargi, MA (Board member)
Jan is the owner and creative director of JMN Publications, a marketing communications and public relations firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Her company serves clients in healthcare, professional development, retail, entertainment, and the golf industry. The winner of four Lamplighter Awards of Excellence and two Bell Ringer Merit Awards, Jan has been listed in Who's Who in Advertising, Who's Who in the East, and Who's Who in U.S. Writers, Editors, and Poets. She advises SEVS on marketing and public relations issues.
